Empower Careers is a job-seeker advocacy business, based in Sydney, but operating throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
As ex-recruiters, we could see that although skilled finance professionals are in high demand throughout the region, the job-search process does not reflect this. The market is dominated by recruitment firms, working for employers, and as a result there is a serious information asymmetry in the job-search process. Employers want to know all about you, but you do not get to hear about them until you are already in the interview, or until after you have already joined!
We exist to represent job-seekers, and redress the balance in the job search process.
