Our Service

Empower acts as your job search advisor and advocate, helping you plan your career, and make the plan a reality. We call this jobseeker advocacy.

Our service has three steps.

1. We meet you for the first time for a career counselling session. We will help you formulate a career plan and achievable career goals. If these career goals make an immediate job change advisable we will move on to step two. Otherwise we will agree on a date to reassess your situation later. After this meeting we will send you a career plan statement.

2. Empower Careers will help you with your resume, and will also create an anonymous document summarising your skills, experience and character. We send your anonymous profile to the appropriate recruiters and ask them to send us the positions they have available. We then run through those positions with you. As a result, you have gained access to all the best jobs on the market without disclosing your resume, or the fact you are looking for a job, to anyone outside Empower.

3. If you feel any positions are suitable then we start the application process for those jobs. Empower will help you manage the interview process with counselling and support, and then when you have identified the ideal job we will represent you in the salary negotiations.
